Part of folder labeled "JA community programs, brochures, and fliers." Memory Book from Nikkei Futures 2000, a reunion in Portland of former internees that took place in August 11-13th, 2000. Includes news coverage of the event, images from the reunion, and a directory of attendees. Also includes information on the Oregon Nikkei Legacy Center and the Japanese Ancestral Society of Portland. Images published in the book show that Kazuo Ochiai, Nobuko (Ochiai) Susaki, and Shizuko (Ochiai) Okazaki were all in attendance, and each are listed in the directory. A loose photograph, a colorized version of one in the booklet, shows Kazuo and Shizuko labeled with their names. |
