It states that Koyama was born on October 7, 1897, and immigrated to Seattle in 1914. He was working as a dentist in Portland when the order for his arrest was issued on December 8, 1941. He was picked up on December 10, 1941, and was eventually confined at Camp Missoula, Montana.
